Creating an Announcement Item
The Announcements tool in D2L Brightspace allows instructors
to communicate course updates, changes, and new information to students on the
course home page.
Directions
- To create a new announcement
item, click New Announcement
from the Announcements dropdown menu, as shown below:
- Next, click into the Headline field and type a name for your Announcement Item.
- Then, click into the Content HTML Editor and type a message to students.
- When you are finished typing and editing your
message, click the Publish button
located at the bottom of the page.
Congratulations! You’ve just created your first Announcement
item in D2L Brightspace!
