How Do I Report Spam/Phishing Emails (Software Version)?

How Do I Report Spam/Phishing Emails (Software Version)?

This is assuming that you have are using the Microsoft Outlook software and have it open. If you do not have it downloaded, please follow the How can I install Office 365 on my computer? article to install the software. Once you have it installed, or it is already installed, open up Microsoft Outlook.
1. Make sure you are already on the "Home" tab.

2. Select the email that you believe is a spam

3. At the end of the ribbon under the "Home" tab, click on "Report Message".

4. Select "Junk" if its from someone you do not wish to receive anymore emails from. It will be moved to the "Junk Email" folder.

5. Select "Phishing" if you believe it is an email that is trying to steal personal information.


If there is any error when reporting the email, please forward the email to phish@saintpaul.edu as an alternative.
