How to Reduce Your Printing

Printing less is good for the budget and the planet. In addition, you can reduce last-minute stress by planning ahead and digitizing or bulk-printing (via the Copy Center or Bookstore). Check out some tips below.

Tree-Friendly Alternatives to Printing

  1. Use VirtualFollowMe Print to send print jobs to any of the larger copiers situated around the college. They are faster, cheaper, and more reliable.
    1. Walk-in copier locations:

        First Floor: 1205*, 1260*, 1262*, 1265, 1300*, 1340, 1365, 1413
        Second Floor: 2435
        Third Floor: 3110, 3225, 3435
        Fourth Floor: 4415

    2. Plan ahead and have students get their course packets from the Campus Bookstore at the beginning of the semester

  2. Post readings and handouts on D2L BrightSpace under Content:
    1. PDFs of articles and web pages
    2. Use D2L BrightSpace pages, discussions, or quizzes for activities
  3. Submit larger print jobs to the Copy Center (Room 1245):
