I’m trying to register for classes but I was told there was a financial hold on my account; what do I do?

a.       A hold gets placed on any student account which has a past due balance and may include any of the following reasons:

                                                               i.      Your financial aid from the prior term may not have covered all of the charges on your account.

ii.      A fee may have been placed on your account due to a past due or unreturned item from the library.

iii.      If you withdrew from courses in a prior term there may be a remaining balance due to the calculation of return to Title IV Federal Student Aid.

b.       The balance must be paid before the hold can be removed to allow registration in future courses.

c.       Balances can be viewed by logging into eServices-Bills and Payment

d.       There may be an option to set up a payment plan for the past due balance by contacting the Tuition Office at tuition.office@saintpaul.edu or calling 651-846-1395.

For additional questions regarding holds due to balances you can call the Tuition Office at 651-846-1395.
