What is a StarID?

Your StarID is a username that can be used to log into many different online applications at Saint Paul College, as well as across the Minnesota State system. Your StarID consists of two letters, followed by four numbers, followed by two letters, i.e. ab1234cd. StarIDs are randomly assigned to users when they first interact with the MinnState system, such as applying to a college or university, or taking a course through PSEO or Workforce Training. A StarID is never duplicated and is never re-assigned, you are the only one who will ever have that StarID, and you will use it over the lifetime of your relationship with Minnesota State.
