Zoweetek Voice Amplifier charging and operation
The Zoweetek Voice Amplifier is a portable, rechargeable microphone
and speaker unit that can be used to amplify your voice within a space that
does not have a dedicated microphone system.
To use the Zoweetek:
- Plug the large end of the USB cable into the AC
wall adapter. Plug the smaller end of the USB cable into the smaller USB port
on the Zoweetek unit, the one labeled “DC 5V.”
- Plug the AC wall adapter into an electrical
outlet. The small indicator light in the upper left of the top of the Zoweetek
unit will appear red and flash on and off.
- Allow the unit to charge. When the battery is
fully charged, the indicator light will no longer flash, and will instead be solid red. Unplug the USB cable from the unit.
- Plug the microphone plug into the Mic jack on
top of the Zoweetek unit, and put the mic on your head, adjusting the mic so it
is near your mouth. Use the strap to hang the unit over your shoulder or around
your neck; alternatively, you can use the clip to attach the unit to your waist-band
or a pocket, so that it stays with you as you walk around.
- Turn the volume control switch toward the On
position. The indicator light will now show a solid blue. After a second or
two, the amplifier will power up. Begin speaking into the microphone, adjusting
the volume control to the desired level.
- When done using the Zoweetek until, turn the volume
control down until it clicks off and the blue indicator light goes out.
- The Zoweetek battery is designed to provide
continuous voice amplification for up to 12 hours, with one week stand-by time.
But charge the unit as needed to ensure it will last during the entire time you
intend to use it.
